Located on the northwest coast of Corsica,
L’Île-Rousse was originally founded in the 18th
century and named for the distinctive red rocks
that color the shore. A charming main square
and 120-year-old date palms are in the main

the village.

hub of the port wine trade, Porto is a gracious,
