Bierbuik
A Flemish masculine noun meaning Beer-belly. That
says it all - or almost... The younger brother of the
Auberge du Vert Mont and the Bloempot chose to
be located in the heart of Old Lille, at 19 rue Royale.
This social hub, with its cool and festive ambience,
was the brainchild of chef Florent Ladeyn, together
with his cousin Clément Dubrulle, the chef at Vert
Mont, and Kevin Rolland, a childhood friend.
The aim is to give people the opportunity to enjoy a
delicious, healthy, locally produced meal both day and night (till midnight or beyond)
for ten euros, drink included. Le Bierbuik is a next-generation dining spot, a social hub
that’s accessible thanks to its stripped-back, approachable cuisine featuring a wood-
fire oven. Also on the menu are beers that the three co-owners created themselves.

Grand Scène (‘Big Stage’) is Lille’s temple of
