City of
Marseille
A converted try
Marseille is the oldest city in France, but also one of the ones most
closely aligned with the modern era, since it advocates a way of life
that’s sporty, sustainable and authentic!
Marseille holds out its many different faces to visitors, the faces that
constitute plenty of journeys to make when you’re walking around the
city. Here, there’s the Panier, a historic district with an Italian feel to it ;
over there, you have the Calanques, splendid coves
and turquoise waters beside the Mediterranean ; further out, there’s
the Mucem, witness of the European Capital of Culture in 2013.
Be charmed by its traditional boutique stores, selling soap,
navette cakes, olive oil and pastis, but also by its gastronomy,
straightforward and generous like Marseille itself.
